Cee Lo Green has been dropped from two concerts after posting
controversial tweets about rape. The singer later deleted the tweets and
subsequently tweeted an apology for the tweets.
It seems his apology came a little too late as the outrage from his views have already cost him shows at two festivals he was supposed to be headlining in the near future. Both concerts have released statements citing Green’s statements as cause for their lineup changes as the organisers felt his views did not represent their brands.
I truly and deeply apologize for the comments attributed to me on Twitter. Those comments were idiotic, untrue and not what I believe.
